Our Way
The Journey Is an Invitation to Notice
We believe God is already present in the landscape, in the silence, in one another, and within the ordinary moments of our lives. Pilgrimage creates space to become attentive to that Presence.
We do not journey to find a distant God. We journey to become attentive to the God who is already here.
The Outer and Inner Journey
Sometimes We Need to Leave the Familiar
There is something about making a journey that changes the way we pay attention. Not because God is more present in one place than another, but because sometimes we become more present.
Perhaps pilgrimage is less about finding God in a new place, and more about awakening to the Presence that has been with us all along.
The Landscape as Companion
Let Creation Become Part of the Conversation
A river invites us to listen. Ancient forest reminds us that much of life grows slowly and unseen. Mountains restore perspective. Changing light teaches us to notice what is here, and what is passing.
Creation is not simply the backdrop to the journey. It becomes one of our companions along the way.
Companions on the Way
We Journey Alongside One Another
We travel in small groups, sharing the road, meals, silence, laughter and conversation. The journey is gently held, creating space for each pilgrim to notice and respond to what is unfolding.
We are not experts leading people toward a destination. We are pilgrims accompanying one another on the way.
The Journey Continues
Pilgrimage Leads Us Home
The road ends. We return to familiar places, familiar people and ordinary life. But perhaps we return a little differently: more attentive, more present, more aware of the Presence that was never confined to the pilgrimage at all.
The destination of pilgrimage is not another place. It is a deeper way of being present where we already are.
